BIO :: Rahul Singh, MD

A local resident to the area, Dr. Singh has always kept the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia close to his heart. A graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor's degree in Neurobiology and Physiology, he was awarded his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He would complete his residency in Internal Medicine at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

During his time in Internal Medicine Residency he served as Chief Resident in Quality Patient Safety. His drive and passion for medicine continued with his pursuit in the understanding of blood and cancer ailments. 

He completed his sub-specialty fellowship in Hematology & Oncology at The George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Dr. Singh is licensed in Virginia, and is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology. He is a member of several professional organizations, including: American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Singh's passion outside of Medicine include his kids, sports, traveling and music.
